BELLA	Bella is a sweet young Calico who arrived as a stray. She is very playful and outgoing! Bella loves attention and has been waiting for someone to notice her and take her home. She is tired of hanging out in a cage and would love a family to play with! Her adoption fee is $90 which will pay for spaying, FIV testing, and vaccinations.		PETER	Peter is an adult neutered male. He arrived as a stray and is a very sweet and outgoing fellow! He is playful, curious, and gets along well with other cats. Please visit him in our adoption room. His adoption fee is $90.
BENJAMIN	Benjamin is a beautiful young adult male who arrived as a stray. He is very sweet and outgoing! Benjamin would love to find a home soon! He is playful and gets along with the other cats. His adoption fee is $90 which includes neutering, FIV test, and vaccinations.		LIZ	This beautiful girl is named Liz. She was brought to the shelter by a neighbor after she was abandoned by her family. She is a wonderful girl who is mellow and quiet. She would love to cuddle in a lap all day! The adoption fee for Liz is $90. Please visit her in our adoption room.

**Our County Policies**

*-* We do not adopt out dogs to be outdoor dogs/pets. We adopt out our dogs only to be a part of the family and live indoors.

*-* If you rent, lease, or live with parents you need to provide a document stating that you are allowed to have pets or a phone number that we may contact that parent or landlord to ask permission to adopt an animal.

*-* Also if you currently own a dog, you need to have a current license and rabies vaccine for that dog to be able to adopt a new dog from our shelter.

*-* We also do not adopt out pets as gifts. Unless the person you are purchasing the pet for is present at the time of the adoption or if we have a phone number that we may contact that person.

*-* You must be at least 18 years of age or have a legal guardian with you to adopt an animal from our shelter or to come through our shelter.

News
If you see a pet on Petfinder.com, come on down to the shelter or call us at (989) 797-4504. If you see one of our pets on WNEM TV5 Saturday or Sunday, and you want to adopt, be the first in line at 8am Monday morning.
We adopt on a First Come-First Served Basis for WNEM TV5 pets and cannot hold animals.......you can call or email us for more information, but you must come in person to adopt. Remember, there is always a pet in need of your love.

How to adopt

(CASH ONLY, PLEASE!)

The adoption process begins with filling out an adoption application,

DOG ADOPTION FORM
or

CAT ADOPTION FORM.

Then the applicant is interviewed and the application submitted for approval. When fees are paid and appropriate paperwork signed and processed, the adoption is complete.

Dogs = $125.00

Cats = $90.00

All other = $15.00

Dogs/Cats adoption fee will include spay or neuter, rabies, and distemper vaccines. These services will be done before the animal is taken home.

I-75 NORTH
Take the M-46 W. HOLLAND AVE exit- EXIT 149B
Merge onto MI-46 W.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto SHERIDAN AVE/MI-46 W.
Turn RIGHT onto MI-46 W. RUST AVE/RUST ST. Continue to follow MI-46 W.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto GRATIOT AVE/MI-46.
End at 1312 Gratiot Ave
I-75 SOUTH
Merge onto I-675 S via EXIT 155 toward DOWNTOWN SAGINAW
Take EXIT 3 toward M-58/DAVENPORT AVE/MICHIGAN AVE.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto HILL ST/SCHAEFER ST. Continue to follow HILL ST.
Turn LEFT onto CONGRESS
MERGE RIGHT onto N MICHIGAN AVE.
N MICHIGAN becomes S MICHIGAN after crossing COURT ST
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto GRATIOT AVE/MI-46. by the McDonald's Resturant
End at 1312 Gratiot Ave RIGHT SIDE of street

SHELTER HOURS:
Mon-Wed: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Thu- 8:00am - 7:00pm, Fri: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Sat - 12:00pm - 3:00pm. The adoption room is closed on Sundays and Mondays and will be open at 12:00 Tuesday through Saturday.
