Lexi is a young spayed female Pit Bull mix. She arrived as a stray in May and is still in need of a permanent home. Lexii is very sweet, good with children, and good with other dogs. She is currently in a foster home and doing very well with training. She has current vaccinations and is ready to go to a permanent home immediately! Please contact the shelter if you are interested. The foster parent will be happy to bring Lexi in for a meet and greet!
Princess is a spayed female who was surrendered by her owner last August. The family was moving and Princess had a litter of kittens that were still nursing. She spent some time in a foster home with her 6 boys and was spayed before being returned to the shelter. Princess is very sweet and playful! She gets along well with other cats and is ready to go home with some lucky family this Christmas! Please visit her in our adoption room.
Jerico is a wonderful young male about 7 or 8 months old! He is very affectionate and loves attention! Jerico is great with other cats and will easily adjust to a new home! Please come and see this sweet boy in our adoption room!
Adam is one of 4 brothers that are looking for a home for Christmas! He is about 12 weeks old and very sweet and playful! You can find him with his brothers in our adoption room.
*-* We do not adopt out dogs to be outdoor dogs/pets. We adopt out our dogs only to be a part of the family and
*-* If you rent, lease, or live with parents you need to provide a document stating that you are allowed to have pets or a
phone number that we may contact that parent or landlord to ask permission to adopt an animal.
*-* Also if you currently own a dog, you need to have a current license and rabies vaccine for that dog to
be able to adopt a new dog from our shelter.
*-* We also do not adopt out pets as gifts. Unless the person you are purchasing the pet for is present at the time of the
adoption or if we have a phone number that we may contact that person.
*-* You must be at least 18 years of age or have a legal guardian with you to adopt an animal from our shelter or to come
through our shelter.
If you see a pet on Petfinder.com, come on down to the shelter or call us at (989) 797-4504. If you see one of our pets on WNEM TV5 Saturday or Sunday, and you want to adopt, be the first in line at 8am Monday morning.
We adopt on a First Come-First Served Basis for WNEM TV5 pets and cannot hold animals.......you can call or email us for more information, but you must come in person to adopt. Remember, there is always a pet in need of your love.
