Our Featured Senior Cats...

Kita

Hi there! My name is Kita! My story is a sad one. My owner became ill and could no longer care for me, so I had to leave my home. The vet was so nice and let me stay at his clinic until I could get into foster care. I love to cuddle, and I will even roll on my back and ask for belly rubs! I love toys, treats, and catnip. I get along well with other kitties, and I like dogs too! Won't you please consider making my wish come true by giving me a home and family to call my own? To learn more about me, Kita, please click on my name or picture! Thanks!

Jake

Hi there! My name is Jake! I was rescued and taken into foster care when I ran out of time at the animal shelter. My nickname is "Jakers". I am a big, handsome boy, and I am super affectionate and friendly. I get along well with other kitties. I love to sit on my foster moms lap and cuddle, and I love to sit in the window and watch the birdies! My special wish is to have my very own home, and my very own family. Can you help make that wish come true?To find out more about me, Jake, please click on my name or picture! Thanks!

Who We Are

JJs Feline Friends was founded by a small group of cat-loving people, and consists solely of volunteers. We are dedicated to finding new, loving homes for abandoned, stray, and owner relinquished cats and kittens.

Ensuring the health and well being of our cats and kittens is a primary part of our mission. Upon arrival, all cats and kittens are taken to a veterinarian to be examined and tested for feline leukemia/FIV. Felines found negative of these diseases are then vaccinated and neutered or spayed if old enough. Each cat and kittens comfort, joy, and safety is also a principle objective of our organization. All cats and kittens are placed in a foster home with one of our volunteers, where they are treated like a member of the family. All adoptable felines are kept until a permanent, loving home can be found.

JJs Feline Friends is funded by adoption fees, general donations from the public, and fundraising activities.

Adopting a Friend

Adoptions are approved based upon an application and interview. We also conduct personal reference and veterinary reference checks as needed. We reserve the right to place each cat in the home we feel is best suited to it.

Our adoption fees are:
Regular $80
Second adoption $40
special needs cat $40
senior cat(7 years and older) $40
senior citizens discounted adoption fee $60

The adoption fee includes: initial vet exam, current vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV testing, spay/neuter( ALL cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to going to their adoptive home), treatment for internal/external parasites, and any other medical care that the cat may have required.

Some cats are declawed prior to coming into foster care. We do not believe in declawing, except in extreme cases.
If you want a declawed cat, we suggest you look at our fosters who have been declawed prior to coming into our rescue group.

Declawed kitties currently available for adoption:

Custard, Meeka, and Clara
