Due to necessity, St Francis no longer has the farm, we are now in the city. We can no longer take any animals, large or small. We still remain active helping animals find better forever homes. We have plenty of contacts, after so many years in rescue, and are still able to help owners find new accomodations for their animals, whether they be farm stock or companion animals. From time to time we will post available animals here on this site, so check frequently and see what is available. If you need to relocate your pet or farm stock, give us a call.
Who We Are
Founded in April of 2004 and registered with the State of Michigan, Saint Francis rescue is committed to the betterment of all animals, with a new commitment to neglected and abused animals. For over 30 years of animal advocacy and a personal love of horses has brought the realization that many well meaning people are ill equipped and inexperienced in the proper care and treatment of farm animals. We will continue our efforts to include horses destined for slaughter and other farm stock suffering severe neglect.
