Time is always in short supply for animals at shelters and pounds. Everyday animals are put to sleep all across Michigan. Please consider adopting an animal instead of buying one from a pet store.
Who We Are
B.A.R.K. - Boo's Animal Rescue Klub is a small group that places a small number of good animals with good people. We believe that there is someone out there for every animal but not everyone is right for every animal.

Because no animal asks to be abandoned, abused, or neglected.
Because no animal deserves to be killed.
Because no animal should be used as an experiment or test subject.
Because if every animal had a voice they would ask for love, kindness, and care!
Speak up for the animals that don’t have a voice.
Volunteer to foster an animal or help a rescue group.
Donate time, materials, or money to a rescue group or shelter.
Adopt an animal from a rescue group or shelter.
Be a voice and advocate for animals in your area.

Everyone must complete a pre-adoption questionnaire to be considered for adopting. Please email us for a pre-adopt form. A home visit by a BARK representative may be required. If approved to adopt, you will be required to complete and sign legal documents. All animals have an adoption fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Posting animals on a web page, public media outlet (printed, televised, or other), or showing at a public location does not mean an OFFER, but an invitation to apply to adopt an animal. We reserve the right to reject any application for any reason that is not against public policy such as national origin, nationality, race etc. Sending in an pre-adoption questionnaire or coming to the adoption showings does not give the prospective adopter/visitor the right on any of our animals nor does it create for us an obligation to adopt out to that person any animal. We try to place our animals in the home best suited to their needs. Thank you.

Please check back for our next adoption day date, location, and time. We do not have a shelter for viewing. In home showings are scheduled by appointment with pre-approved adopters, please email us for a pre-adopt form.
