Gift cards for Meijer, Walmart, Lowes or Home Depot, a weed wacker, clay cat litter, black HP-94 and color HP-95 ink cartridges, lockers for the employees, hand and power tools, yard tools (rakes, shovels), office supplies, postage stamps, copier paper, paper towels, brooms and dust pans, trash bags, floor cleaner (no pine) and window cleaners, bleach, dish soap, laundry soap, storage containers, file cabinet (with lock), storage cabinets, 4-6ft folding tables, an electric clothes dryer, new computers and printers.
Who We Are
The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan is a 501-C3 non-profit organization.
We do not receive funding from any government agencies and rely soley on donations from the community.
Our organization exists to provide shelter and care to sick, homeless, abused and unwanted animals. It is our goal to provide good homes for all these precious animals.
Adopting a friend
If you see a pet that you are interested in, please come to the shelter and fill out an adoption application. Our staff will go over it with you, and determine whether that animal is a good fit for your home.
All of our animals require a $100.00 adoption fee.
This includes the first set of shots, deworming, flea and tick meds, heartworm test, a microchip (so you will be contacted if your dog is found loose), and the spay and neuter of your pet.
