Cascades Humane Society helps people find loving furry friends. Cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, are current with shots, and have tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Dogs and puppies have been spayed or neutered, are current with shots, and have tested negative for heartworm (if old enough). Adopters receive a wellness certificate for each cat and dog, which is good for a free check-up from participating veterinarians. Adopters also get free collars and free ID tags. They have the security of knowing that if the adoption doesn't work out, they will bring their pet back to CHS, whether it's weeks or years after the adoption. Or if you're having trouble but don't want to give up on your new pet, call our adoption counselors and we'll try our best to help you.
All potential adopters need to fill out an adoption survey. This helps us look at your lifestyle to find the perfect companion for you! Surveys can be completed in the office or we would also be glad to fax one to you. Sorry, we cannot do a survey over the phone. Once your survey is approved, you can adopt that day if you'd like.
At this time, we are adopting only to residents living in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Cascades Humane Society DOES NOT sell its animals to research.
