LOOKING FOR A PARTICULAR BREED OR COLOR OF CAT?
While it is our fervent wish that all of our rescued cats and kittens get adopted, the fact is people do have their favorites. If there is a certain breed of cat, or maybe a certain color combination, please e-mail us or call Judy directly at 231-798-1033.
WHERE DO I GO TO ADOPT FROM CAT TALES?
Cat Tales Rescue kitties may be adopted at PetsMART in Muskegon, Michigan. Their address is: 1720 E. Sherman Blvd. Cat Tales regularly holds adoption afternoons, but several of our older adoptable cats are boarded right there at PetsMART for people to look over. Watch the ads in the Muskegon Chronicle for adoption day dates and times.
Go meet the adoptable cats! Don't forget that when you adopt through petfinder.com you are eligible for a FREE one-month Shelter Care Pet Insurance package. Go to their home page and click on the spot by "special announcements" at the top of the page. This will help you get started with the regular veterinarian visits and vaccinations that are so important to the health of your new friend.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter for cats and kittens only. A cat's best friend, Judy runs the rescue with help from volunteers. She's rescued cats all her life, but the shelter was born as a result of a goal of hers in the past few years and is growing every day.
THINKING OF ADOPTING A FRIEND?
If you are looking for a cat or kitten, please call Judy to set up an appointment to visit the shelter and meet some of our residents. Please keep in mind that most of Judy's cats have NOT been "canine tested". If you are a dog owner, please make sure that your faithful friend will be a good companion to the little feline.

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS
Judy is looking for volunteers that would be available as foster parents to mother cats and their kittens. Being in a foster environment gives the mothers and babies a better chance at bonding, and it eliminates some of the health risks that the kittens may encounter being around other cats before their immunity builds up. If you live in Muskegon or surrounding areas, won't you open up your home to this heart-warming opportunity? The mama cats will be eligible for adoption once the kittens are of age and she has been spayed. We DO NOT sell our cats to research labs!
Something to THINK ABOUT...
Animals are not disposable. Please RESCUE, DON'T BREED! Spay or neuter your pets and be a responsible pet owner. Think about this: In 5 years, one unspayed female cat and her offspring and their offspring can produce 4 million cats. Do you really want to be part of the cause of this kind of over-population?
