Our Featured Pet...
Our featured pets are Pancho and Lefty. These two jacks are brothers who just recently came into our rescue from Indiana. At this point, we are asking for some monetary assistance to help us in dealing with one of the worst cases of neglect that we have ever encountered. These donkeys had been left out in pasture to basically fend for themselves for years, without any proper hoof care or nutrition. We are very thankful that a woman who became aware of their situation, contacted us. If you could find it in your heart to help us help these donkeys, we are accepting donations to go specifically to their medical attention. Please send any donations to our address listed below and make a notation for the money towards the care of the Indiana donks. Who We Are
Crossroads Donkey Rescue is a Michigan non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected, or unwanted donkeys. Through our organization, we hope to promote the humane care and proper training of these longears and to provide the public with a better understanding of their true nature.
Adopting a friend
Donkeys make wonderful companions for both people and animals. They naturally seek out the friendship of humans and are a joy to have romping through your pastures. If you are interested in adopting one of these loving animals or would just like to learn more about donkeys, please contact us. Crossroads adoption fees average $350 per donkey. Our adoption fees for a pair of donkeys is $500.

If you are interested in coming to visit one of our farms, please email or call the number listed below. We have board members in Central Michigan and the Lansing area. We would gladly set up an appointment with you at your closest farm.
