If you have cat-themed items that you can donate to BFPCR, please drop off new or gently used things at Backdoor Friends Cat Shoppe. We can sell items at our fundraisers.
NOTE: You must be 21 years or older to adopt from Backdoor Friends Purebred Cat Rescue. Also, the home owner or apartment lessee must also sign the contract if different than the adopter.
1. Obtain an adoption application by emailing (lm@mi.rr.com) or by calling 248-442-0259. Please leave your fax number on the voice mail if you need an application faxed to you. Applications are also available at Backdoor Friends Cat Shoppe at 35562 Grand River in Farmington Hills, MI 48335.
2. Applications are reviewed by Backdoor Friends Purebred Cat Rescue Board Members.
3. Upon approval, a private viewing is scheduled.
4. Sign contract, pay adoption fee with cash or check and arrange for pick up of new family member with a cat carrier. Cats must be picked up in a carrier!
Adult cats ten years and under $150.00 For two adult cats, there is a $50 discount so the total would be $250 for two.
Over ten years- $100.00
