We need your help to come and find your next best friend.
Who We Are
The Humane Animal Treatment Society exists to provide a necessary public service in emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering all companion animals. We are dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, you will need a drivers license. NOTICE! Adoption prices have changed.
All animals will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Puppies under 6 months are $175 and adult dogs are $160. This includes an Isabella County dog license, rabies vaccine, spay/neuter surgery, heart worm test, age appropriate vaccinations and a microchip.
All cats are $85. This includes a feline leukemia/FIV test, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccine, a microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
All our animals are up to date on medical and you won't have to worry about vaccinations for a year. It really is a good deal, try to get all that done for that price. Keep in mind, that even though the dogs and cats get vaccinated and HATS (Humane Animal Treatment Society) works very hard to care for dogs and cats at the shelter, there are no guarantees. There may be health conditions that are not apparant and could not be forseen. There may be some risk but it's still worth it to adopt and make a difference in the life of an unwanted pet.
When you call about an animal, remember that things change quickly. Describe the animal, including a name (if it has one) and the ID number. If the animal you want is no longer available, please ask about any new animals that may not be posted yet!
