WE ARE CURRENTLY FEEDING ABOUT 70 CATS AND KITTENS EVERY MONTH. THESE ARE CATS AND KITTENS THAT ARE LIVING ON THE STREETS AND SOME ARE IN OUR HOMES WAITING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP, WE ARE ACCEPTING BAGS OF CAT FOOD AND ANY AMOUNT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. IN FOOD ALONE IT IS COSTING US AROUND $800 A MONTH. WITHOUT HELP WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR THESE ANIMALS THAT HAVE NO OTHER OPTION BUT THE STREETS AT THIS TIME.
We are currently NOT accepting any animals at this time. We have been working on a very large, stray, feral colony and simply do not space for any others.
Who We Are...
Animal Pals is a non-profit and qualified 501(c)3 charitable organization who rescue cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. We are just a small, home based group of volunteers. We do not have an adoption center and our pets are fostered in people's homes. We work mostly with trapping, spaying and releasing of feral cats in the Macomb County area. Our goal is to provide care for animals in need while evaluating their behavior and personality so we can find the best possible home for the animal.
Adopting a friend...
We want to make sure that our pets will be going to loving and responsible pet owners. There is a screening process along with an adoption application that we require. We also prefer a trial period where the animal stays with the potential owners before a decision is made to officially adopt. This way owners and pets have time to adjust and then a good decision can be made if the home will be a permanent one. Sorry, but we cannot ship our animals.
