Who We Are
A.C. PAW is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are licensed with the Department of Agriculture.
AC PAW started as a vision of two people, Brian Manley and June McGrath to ensure a safe haven for animals from abuse, hunger, disease and death. As we all know to well, the over population problem happening at animal shelters, A.C. PAW was founded to give the animals a second chance at life.
We are officially begining our 11th year of volunteer service, with a handful of dedicated volunteers and a small number of donors. A.C. PAW began on July 1, 1995 and officially incorporated on Jan 16, 1996. During this time we have rescued and placed nearly 3,000 dogs and cats into loving homes.
We are always looking for animal lovers willing to put some time and effort into volunteering, or becoming a foster home. Any kind of financial support, blankets, towels, collars, any kind of misc items would be greatly appreciated.
Adopting a friend
We have a screening process designed to match your needs with the personality and behavior of a pet. This way you end up with a companion, and the pet ends up in a happy, loving home. You must be 21 years old, have a current driver's license If you do not own your home, you must have a renters pet authorization letter with landlords phone number.
All animals offered by A.C. PAW, have a current health certificate, to include Spay/Neuter, shots, and deworming, not to mention hours of loving care from our foster parents. A.C. PAW maintains a secutity interest in all adopted animals. A.C. PAW discourages declawing, and can provide sugestions for alternatives to declawing. In the event that you must relinquish control of your pet, A.C. PAW reserves the right of first option. All adoptions must be approved by an A.C. PAW volunteer, our adoption fee is $95.00 for cats and $120.00 for dogs.
