Other items always needed at Noahs: cat litter, laundry detergent, bleach, paper towels, blankets for beds, canned dog & cat food, and raw hides. Treats, Treats, Treats .....the dogs love treats and little ones are best - liver snaps, small ..not colored...puppy bisquits - they love their treats! Some of our older dogs and smaller dogs like the small, soft treats.
Please note: Because we participate in the Science Diet Food Program, our pets only eat the DRY Science Diet pet food. We can, however, accept canned cat and dog food for special treats.

LULU IS LOOKING FOR A HOME!!
Lulu is a very sweet girl, most of the time. But, she is not too happy here at Noah's where there are so many 'friends' for her to deal with. So, Lulu just stays in her kennel watching the activity going on, but not participating. If she is taken out of her 'environment, she can get a little 'hissy'...but if you take the time to love her a bit, she loves you! She just wants a home of her own where she can enjoy a quieter atmosphere and cuddle with just her person! Won't you come in and meet Lulu and see if you might be that quiet home she is looking for?
MEET MONTANA ~ A SENIOR WITH PERSONALITY!!
Montana was adopted and when her owner passed away, she came back to Noah's. That was a year ago! Montana is about 8 or 9 now, a very sweet, sweet girl. She can't live with cats, she also doesn't get along with 'all' dogs. But people? She loves them!!! She loves to go for walks, she loves to be brushed, she just loves being with you! Montana needs a home where she can just chill with you and call it a day when day is over. She can be your best friend and will not require much attention! Won't you consider giving a sweet senior a home to call her own?

TO ADOPT A PET FROM THE NOAH PROJECT, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE THAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NOAH PROJECT. This requirement includes: all pet vaccines are up-to-date, dogs are on or have always been on Heartworm Preventative and all pets are neutered and have regular check-ups with their veterinarian. Same day adoptions do not usually happen. Approval of applications may take anywhere from 3 to 10 days. If you find a dog or cat you are interested in, stop by during our open hours to visit that pet. We do require that all our pets "visit" with you here at Noah's to see if you really want to become their new forever home.
We do adopt to out-of-state parties. HOWEVER, YOU MUST COME TO NOAH'S TO VISIT AND FINALIZE THE ADOPTION. You may call us or e-mail us for more information about our pets. Then if you find a dog or cat you are interested in, please arrange a visit to the Shelter during our open hours.
Also, if you are an out-of-town or out-of-state potential adoptee, you MUST have a current veterinarian from whom we will need references on current and previous pets. We also will need proof of home ownership. This can all happen prior to a visit so that possible same day adoption upon approval of your application might happen.

Need low cost neuter? ...call C-Snip at (616) 455-8220. C-Snip is a reduced-cost, non-profit spay/neuter clinic located in Grand Rapids. Transportation for the animal from Muskegon to C-Snip is also offered.

We are a no-kill, nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue of abused, abandoned, and unwanted animals.
Our mission is simple. We will not allow a healthy, adoptable dog or cat accepted at our center to be destroyed. Our goal is: NO MORE HOMELESS PETS!
Any cat or dog accepted at The Noah Project will be neutered when age appropriate and will be current on their vaccines prior to adoption. We will make every effort to find a good, safe adoptive home for our pets. If a home cannot be found, that pet will live a safe, happy life at the center where loving volunteers will care for them as long as they live.
