News
We have foster homes in the following areas: Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, Grand Rapids/Holland and metro-Detroit. Please help us by adopting a needy rabbit and allowing us to save more lives.
Rabbits in Michigan need your help. Contact us if you're interested in volunteering with the Michigan HRS.
Who We Are
We are a nonprofit all volunteer education and rescue organization.
All rabbits are spayed/neutered and litterbox trained prior to adoption.
We also provide free educational support with rabbit care questions via email or our chapter hotline: 269-552-9890
Adopting a friend
Although our organization is based in Kalamazoo we adopt rabbits all over the state. We currently have foster homes which serve both the western Michigan area and the metro-Detroit area.
Adoption Process:
- You can begin by learning about proper rabbit care.
- Next, call our chapter hotline: 269-552-9890
- Adoption fees are $60 for single rabbits and $75 for a pair. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Your adoption fee helps us to cover the cost of this necessary procedure
- We request that all adopters have a current copy of the House Rabbit Handbook
