Our Mission
The mission of One Love Rescue is to rescue abandoned and surrendered cats and find them their forever homes.
One Love Rescue is a nonprofit organization that is a team of volunteers working to save the lives of cats and kittens. We are a foster only based group where the team takes our rescues into their homes. We do adoption events throughout the local area, but we do the most adoptions right from our foster homes!
We are funded by adoption fees and donations only; donations may be made via PayPal or FB Messenger to oneloverescue19@gmail.com or by mail to 146 Snowflake Way, Houghton Lake, MI 48629.
Adoption Policy
1) Fill out an application.
2) You will be interviewed via the phone before adoption can occur.
3) We always want a meet and greet to ensure perfect fit. Most meetings will happen in the foster homes.
4) When possible, we spay/neuter before adoption (dependent on age, weight, availability of service, etc). Fees are $75 per un-neutered animal, $100 per neutered animal and includes up-to-date vaccinations, flea treatment, and deworming.
5) You will be asked to sign an adoption contract for the animal you choose.
6) Congratulations!! Thank you for adding a new family member to your home.
