Hilltop Animal Rescue
We are a small rural rescue which was formed some years ago as an alternative to the pound which only keeps pets seven days or less. We have a total no-kill policy so it is important to us to find our animals a home as quicky as possible so that we have room for more to be saved.
We do our best to match your needs with the personality and behaviors of a pet so that you end up with a companion for life and the pet ends up happy in their new home.
We ask a depending on care costs and breed.

Barb has the animals (except the ocassional foster pet I have) at her house so she can tell you more about them by phone (269 673 6332)than I can at the e mail address. Some dogs we will not answer emails about because only Barb has info at the phone number.
We request a donation when you adopt. Amounts range from $10 to $150. depending on many factors. Please call Barb to ask the requested donation for the animal you are interested in. We sometimes also request that you have a fence for active pets. We also ask that if a pet does not work out at your home that you return it to us but we do not refund your donation. We insist on you getting your new companion altered if that hasn't already been done.
If you come to Allegan, follow the green signs on River St. to the County Service Center. Just before the Center you will find us at the big white farm house with green shutters and pine trees lining the drive.
