Who We Are
We are volunteers who work in coordination with experienced and devoted Rescuers from TN, AR, MO, and MS to help facilitate successful adoptions for dogs needing great homes in New England and Nova Scotia. We are not a physical shelter, however, we do have available kennel space and foster homes here in Southern Maine.
Canine Commitment -ME operates out of out Greater Portland, ME and Canine Commitment-NH is in New Boston, NH
Adopting a friend
Our process includes an application with references, reference checks, possible home visit, and collection of adoption/transport fees which range from $275 -$350.00
All the dogs we sponsor arrive with Vet paperwork, legal travel papers, and an earned health certificate.
