Who We Are
We are a small municipal shelter located in Orrington Maine. We handle strays for several towns and sometimes these animals are not claimed. We try our best to place them all, maybe you can help?
Adopting a friend
We have a low adoption fee on adult altered dogs, as we want to give them a good chance of being adopted. Most all of our dogs are available for $50-$100 and Cats will be dependant on if they have already been altered. Spay and Neuter deposits/costs may be required. Contact us today!
Come Visit Us!
Do to the fact that we are a small private shelter we ask that you call before coming out for a visit so we are sure to have a person available to assist you with the animals. Being that the shelter director is also the Animal Control Officer she doesn't have "normal" set open hours, but will be glad to make an appointment for you.

We Need Your Help!
We always need dog food, cat food, blankets, kitty litter, crates, leashes, collars, toys, chewie stuff, and other basic supplies. If you can't adopt consider donating some of these very useful items, our residents appreciate it.
