Animal Welfare League not only helps find homes for the animals here at the shelter, but also works on social skills of our animal friends up until the time they find their new permanent home!
Once you’ve found the furry friend you wish to make a member of your family you’ll need to fill out an application. We must complete a background check and speak with landlords. If adopting a dog and there is another dog in the household, they must meet to be certain they will get along. We want to avoid any problems you might have at home! Once cleared, we begin the adoption papers.
Please note: some dogs will require a home visit prior to placement.
