The organization was founded in 1988 and thanks to the wonderful people who have donated to us, we have been able to rescue thousands of stray, abused, neglected, unwanted, or abandoned animals, cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. We are really hoping that you are an animal lover and that you might care about what happens to the cute little puppies and kittens that are outside suffering. There are just so many of them, it's so sad because they will of course face an uncertain and painful death outside. Right now we desperately need your help! Unfortunately, we have taken in a lot of animals that are ill and in dire need of medical attention and costly medications. It has cost us so much that we have exhausted all of our financial resources. It is not hard to nurse the animals back to health; our staff and volunteers actually love to do it. We just don't have the money to rescue any more animals without your help. We just keep getting phone calls everyday about more and more kitties and puppies that desperately need help right now. We would love to take these animals in, so if you can send anything right now, we would really and truly appreciate it. Please! Please! Please! Photo 1: Blue. A special needs 16 year old russian blue who had been left on our doorstep after his owner had passed away. He had been in our shelter for several months and was adopted by a sweet couple who had other cats that he could lounge around with.
Photo 2: Patches. Now named Luey-Michelle was adopted by an employee. She had been in the shelter for about a year and she needed a loving home. She is now in a family with 2 other spunky and loving felines.
Photo 3: 3 Kittens out of a litter of 5. Very rambuncious and playful. They all went to sweet and loving homes at 8 weeks old.
