Meet Sky, our
PET OF THE MONTH!!!!

Hi, my name is Sky! Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am an 18 month sweetheart in need of a new home. I can win just about anyone with my striking, beautiful green eyes. My foster parents suspect I am an American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff). I am spayed and current with all of my vaccines, and a happy go lucky girl.

A little history on me. My first home was a bit frightening! I spent my first long year in a small crate, only coming out 2-3 times per day to go to the bathroom. Everything is new and I am oh so curious! I was rescued when my old owner dumped me. Despite a rough start, I am extremely lovable and oh so social with people.

Training: My foster parents say I was the social butterfly of doggie school beginner's class, which I proudly graduated from. I got to strut proudly, I am wonderful on a leash, and I have learned so many human words. I'm so glad I'm learning to understand them because I do love people! I am looking forward to the future classes I will take with my new forever home!

Other Animals: I am learning not to chase things that are smaller than me, but I will never be happy living with cats. I love to play with other big dogs, but have to be reminded to mind my manners, since I'm still a pup and haven't learned my own strength! I would be happy with a big dog brother or on my own!

Give me a squeaky toy and watch my gleeful, goofy, retriever side bloom! What a riot! I am extremely devoted to people and would make an excellent house dog, jogging mate, cuddle mate, and friend for your lucky home! Please come find me and take me home!

Roxie's Fund is helping the homeless and abused animals with our wonderful Roxie's Fund Rescue Network and Roxie's Fund Building Foundation. Please join Roxie's Fund Membership Circle. This helps us greatly in being able to help the homeless animals.

Who We Are

Roxie's Fund is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Animal Welfare Organization. We actively rescue homeless and abused dogs and bring them into our Rescue Program. We have a rehabilitation program that provides all vet care and training while in rescue until each dog is placed in a "forever" loving home of their own. Roxie's Fund is actively seeking a goal of building a No-Kill animal Sanctuary where homeless dogs can stay until they are adopted.

Adopting a friend

Dogs are friends and part of our family. Remember when you adopt a young pup it's a 10-15 year commitment. We love to get our pups loving homes and we hope you are ready for us!
