Who We Are
SAVE A LIFE ANIMAL RESCUE is a non-profit, no-kill organization . We are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and abandoned dogs and cats. SAVE A LIFE ANIMAL RESCUE takes great care to find responsible,loving, permanent homes for every animal.We believe that we have a lifelong obligation to every animal that enters our shelter and we care for each animal as if it were our children.
Adopting a friend
Although the animals that we rescue are well cared for at the shelter, it is our goal to find a special home for each pet. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and feline aides, wormed, treated for fleas, and current on shots. We only accept cash or checks(with valid I.D.); sorry no credit cards. Check out our pet list to see the cats we have available for adoption. LOCAL (MARYLAND) ADOPTIONS ONLY PLEASE. If you see anyone you would like to adopt send us a completed adoption application either by e-mail(copy and paste) or by fax(410-859-1385). Once we have your completed application we will set up a time for you to see them. If you have any questions, they can be answered by e-mailing us at savealife2000@yahoo.com.
Surrendering a Pet
WE ARE FULL AT THIS TIME AND CAN NOT TAKE IN ANY PETS. Please do not show up at the shelter unannounced with a pet to surrender. We do not accept drop offs. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN CARRIERS OR BOXES OUTSIDE THE GATE. They will be considered abandoned and the Animal Control will be called.

Come Visit Us!
To adopt from us, e-mail us to set up an appointment. When coming out to the shelter, park out on the street and enter the small gate to the left. The shelter is located in the building to the left. The entrance to the shelter is in the rear of the building. Walk right in, there is no need to knock.
