With the recent passing of our dear friend "Chance," we at The Ark of Hope Rescue would like to dedicate our website in his memory. A precious dog that experienced so much pain from man, losing teeth, flesh and bone, gave only love in return!

The Ark of hope Rescue will always remember this adorable young dog. So happy all the time. While he was in the hospital or in the rescue his tail told of his lovable spirit! We will always be greatful to the Walker family for loving him so much and for giving him the best year of his life! Chance will be dearly missed by all who knew him! He was such a wonderful dog! God, thank you for Chance and please give him a hug from us!
"Who We Are"
The Ark of Hope Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization that rescues animals that have been abused, abandoned, and neglected. Once at "The Ark"' the animals get the medical treatments that they need, they are provided with nutritious food, bathed, a warm room and a comfortable bed. They are cared for until they are ready to be placed up for adoption. When healthy enough the animal will be spayed / neutered and vaccinated.
We are a No-Kill rescue, which means there is no time limit that an animal has while it is here. We do not put animals to sleep because:
They are sick - we get them all the vet care necessary,
They are old - even the elderly needs love and compassion,
They are not house trained - we teach them proper "potty rules,"
They have been here too long - there will never be a "too long!,"
No one else wants them - the pet will find love here where they have not found it anywhere else!
The only time The Ark of Hope will euthanize an animal is when an animal is in pain when it is determined it's illness is terminal. When an animal has no quality of life!
The Ark of Hope Rescue, Inc. has the government's 501(c)3 status granting donators a tax deduction for their donations.
