Hi there! My name is Adam and Im a sweet little pit mix boy looking for a forever family! Im about 8 mths. old and about 40 lbs. I will probably be 50-60 lbs. full grown. I was found being thrown out of a moving car by my previous "owners'! But I still love people! I havent met anyone I havent liked! I also get along great with other dogs as well as cats! Plus, I am crate trained, I walk well on a leash, and I know sit and down!

2/16/09-FOSTERS AND TRANSPORTERS ARE NEEDED! If you can foster even one dog for us it would really help! There are SO many dogs that need our help right now, but without foster homes we can't save them! If you can only foster a specific size or even breed-thats fine; just let us know what you're looking for and we can find a dog like that that needs your help! Can't foster but still want to help? We also need people to help us get dogs from kill shelters to their foster homes! If you can spare a few hours of your weekend driving dogs to safety then please email us for more info! 12/10/08-We have finally changed our petfinder location from Yardley, PA to Bel Air, MD! (We still do not have an actual shelter, but all of our animals are now fostered in MD instead of PA.)

Rainbow Tails Rescue, Inc. is a charitable non profit organization that is based out of Maryland. Founded in November of 2005, we have saved the lives of over 400 animals and we continue to save as many as we can. We use a network of foster homes to help dogs and cats in need. We place them into generous foster homes until they receive the chance at a wonderful life with a forever family! We are always looking for foster homes for our dogs and cats! Donations are always welcome and are the spine of the organization. Without our generous supporters we wouldn't have the funds to care for the dogs and cats that we take in! Adopting A Friend
If you're interested in adopting an animal from our site, please email us with it's name and ID number. A rescue representative will then take your information and email you an adoption application. If the application checks out, then a home visit may be performed to evaluate the kind of environment you will offer to your new family member. Once approved, we will set up a time for you to meet the animal(s) you are interested in. If we think you would be a good match for each other, then you are able to take your new member of the family home that day!
Adoption Fees
Cats and kittens (of any age) - $100
Puppies (8 weeks to 6 months) - $250
Puppies (7 months to 11 months) - $200
Adult dogs (1 year to 6 years) - $175
Senior dogs (7 years and older) - $150
