Who We Are
(We are a charitable organization run by a dedicated group of volunteers for the rescue and placement of homeless animals. We receive no government funding and are supported by private contributions only. We are dedicated to preventing and relieving the suffering and neglect of companion animals through rehabilitation and placement to apropriate homes. PETS of MD, Inc. offers education to the public and other related targeted services for the benefit of animals. Our representatives are trained to assist a prospective adopter find the right animal companion for one's life-style. )

(The animals placed under our care are go to a foster home before a permanent home is found. Our foster homes are locted throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.)
