Oogie was saved from animal control in the nick of time. They believe he had his head run over by a car or truck. But despite that he is a supersweet boy. His foster mom loves him and said he is so well behaved. He is incredibly calm and just likes to hang out. He loves his foster mom's 8 year old daughter and wags his tail whenever he sees her. He walks very well on a leash and wags his tail when he is with other dogs. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. He was taken to the vet and his wounds on his head were cleaned and he was given meds. Now he just needs a good home! OOGIE is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.

We are a small group of foster homes focusing on rescue, adoption and education. We accept the following breeds into our program: American Pit Bull Terrier, dogs that are fit the general term Pit Bull, Staffordshire terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bulldog and strong mixes of these breeds.

We are in desperate need of foster homes.We pay for all vet care. You provide a loving home,food,leash,collar,and lots of your love and time. Our fosters are also the ones who meet potential adopters after they have been screened and approved. You will know the dog best,since they wll be living with you, you will know and love the dog.Fostering is a great way to help these dogs find a new home. if you feel you are not ready for your own dog yet,try fostering so you can still share your love with a dog who needs it, and not keep them,but help another.Without foster homes we cannot pull any dogs from shelters until our dogs are adopted.And there are many dogs in the shelters who are put to sleep everyday for lack of space in rescues !!
Adopting a friend
Anyone interested in adopting a pet from us must first complete a application for adoption. We check personal and veterinary references and require a home visit. . Our adoption fee of $175.00 for adult dogs and $200.00 for puppies. The adoption fee for each dog includes spay/neuter.vaccines, microchip, first month of heartworm prevention and frontline.Please be aware that we do have to pay for this and these services at your vet would cost well over $300.00. This adoption fee in turn helps us help the next dog who comes into our rescue.
