Our Featured Pet...
Our featured pet is Waldo. Waldo spent the first part of his life living in a crate night and day. By the time he came into our rescue, he was so weak from lack of exercise, he could barely stand. Now, thanks to his foster family, he is a happy and active dog eagerly looking for his forever home. He needs someone special who will help him learn his manners and give him a lot of love.

Who We Are
Pet Rescue of Maryland is a non-profit volunteer group dedicated to saving the lives of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. All of our animals come from "kill" shelters when euthanasia becomes inevitable.
We foster these animals in our homes so that we can provide the most comfortable and humane environment. By being in a natural home setting we are able to assess each dog and cat and address any behavioral or medical needs the animal may have.
The high success rate of our adoptions is due to our ability to understand the needs of our foster pets and match them with families that provide the best "forever homes"

See a pet that might make it's forever home your home? Please visit us on Saturdays at the Timonium, MD Petco between 2-5pm. Our adoption process takes a week or even two. The rescue is manned by volunteers who work hard at rescue and at their jobs! We are located in Baltimore, Maryland and are not currently able to do out of state adoptions. We do not have a shelter address. We do show a sampling of our pets at the Petco in Timonium, MD every saturday from 2-5pm. Please e-mail us if you are interested in meeting a specific pet!
