Animal Rescue of MD is a newly formed group dedicated to helping homeless dogs find their forever home. Our dogs do not have a "time limit" and our kept in loving foster homes until a forever home is found - no matter how long.

To adopt a dog from Animal Rescue of MD, please notify us by email of your interest. We will send you a no-obligation application. Part of our process is doing a home check with the dog to make sure the environment is safe and so that you can have interaction with your potential new family member in your own home.
Come Visit Us!
All of Animal Rescue of MD's dogs are kept in foster homes. Our dogs are shown by appointment, generally on the weekend at a mutually convenient location. Animal Rescue of MD prefers to have a completed application before arranging a showing. Remember -- this is a no obligation application. ANIMAL RESCUE OF MARYLAND adopts to homes in the DC Metropolitan area only. This includes all of DC, Northern Virginia and most of Maryland.
