Smokey is our featured pet this month. He is a wonderful chow with a passion for life. He has recently had his first shave down, and appears to like it at this time. He is residing in a kennel until he is adopted, and has saved the lives of three dogs by donating blood. He is a good citizen who has been down on his luck. Can you find it in your heart to give this sweet guy a home?
Who We Are
Our group consists of two veterinary technicians and many caring veterinarians, trying to make a difference in the lives of the many animals we see daily. We give owners an option when they want to put a pet to sleep due to lack of income. We offer the option of the owner signing the pet over to us. We then pay for the medical treatment, and find the pets new homes. We also get many calls with dogs that have been found and are to be euthanized due to their breed. We take every dog, and puppy we are able. We have a multitude of doctors at the practice where we are employed. It is wonderful to see how they try to work with us to save the animals that need us most. Although we save all we can there are still many unseen babies that are silently waiting for their human angel to find them, and give them a real home.
Adopting a friend
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online application. You may email me if interested in adoption, and I will email you the application for the pet you are interested in. After the application has been reviewed a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet. After the meeting a housecheck will be performed to make sure the home is safe for the new addition. The last procedure would be to sign the adoption contract, and take your new pet home.
