URGENT-EUTHANASIA CAN'T BE DELAYED MUCH LONGER!!! This girls life has temporarily been saved from death as she has become a blood donor. However, there is no way to know how long she will be able to donate. While she is a donor, she will be confined, unfortunately to a cat cage with 3-4 sessions per week where she is allowed to free roam the cat holding area. This can't be very happy for any cat and I am hoping that we will be able to find her a home before she has to be subjected to frequent blood draws and life inside a cage for too long. Please help save her life. Gyspy is an adult calico that looks very similar to Gucci, except she has more black where Gucci has white. She is a bit shy as well, but a bit more outgoing than Gucci. Prefers to stay to herself most of the time, but will give you loving when she's comfortable. Loves to sit in bay windows. She likes dogs and other cats. She is the sister to Gucci and we would love to adopt the two of them together as they sit and groom each other frequently. They also love to sleep together. Pictures coming soon.

All are very sweet and loving, Felv and FIV negative, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

The little kittens pictured below are available for adoption. From left to right, they are as follows, Falcor (lt grey tabby male), Nimbly (grey tabby female-has been adopted), Artex (grey tabby male), Atrayu (grey tabby male).. The only one not pictured is an all black male, Artimus. These guys were bottle fed from 10 days old and love to snuggle and knead their people. They are very playful as well. For more info, please call us or send an email. As of September 06, they are all about 17 weeks old or 5 to 5 1/2 months. They are almost full grown already and don't have much time left to them in rescue. Please help give them good homes.
Who We Are
We are a small group trying to help homeless and helpless pets find forever loving homes where they will be considered part of the family and not just a pet. We also take in pets that people can no longer keep for whatever reason. There is a screening process to determine adoptability and also a limit on how many we take in at one time. We also love to talk to people about their pets and any potential new pets. Make adoption the first choice.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested/ feline luekemia and feline aids tested prior to adoption. All animals are started on heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. As the new adopter, you are provided with 1 month of heartworm prevention and one tube of Frontline to get you started.
Adopting a friend
There is an application to be filled out and approved. Then a meeting is arranged with the prospective new owners and the rest of their family. Open discussion ensues on what it takes to care for an animal. A home visit is usually arranged and the contract signed. Adoption fees vary based on the animals requirements before adoption. Between $100.00 and $200.00. Home visits a must for dogs/puppies less 9 months old.
Please call (301-862-9078) to arrange a meeting with an animal you are interested in or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
