Can you open your heart to Kaylee? Sheís been waiting forever for a family to call her own.
Our Featured Pet...
Kaylee doesnít have a foster. Month after month, she sits heartbroken in a boarding kennel. Every time someone approaches her kennel, she eagerly wags her tail hoping theyíre her special someone. Her disappointment is palpable when she realizes sheís being passed by. Kaylee puts her head down & her sweet eyes fill with sadness.
Kayleeís an owner surrender. Please read her story & supply a happy ending.
Iím a sweetheart named Kaylee, a gentle, friendly girl. Iím energetic, super affectionate & I love to snuggle. You couldnít ask for a more devoted, wonderful companion. Through no fault of my own, Iíve done a lot of traveling. Iíd really like a forever home to love me.
Hereís my story. I was adopted as a little puppy. Two years later, my person moved to Miami. She didnít know that American Staffordshire Terriers are illegal there. Can you imagine a dog being illegal? How silly is that! Anyway, I moved back to VA & was adopted by a friend of my original person. I was so happy, but after about 1.5 years their dog decided she didnít like me & repeatedly attacked me. You guessed it, I had to find yet another home. Again, I was given to a friend of the family. My new family had a baby. How I adored the baby & I took very good care of her. My family got divorced & I lived with my dad for about a year. Circumstances changed, he couldnít keep me & Pound Pals came to my rescue. So, once more Iím homeless. Iím such a good girl & love children, as you can see from my photo. Very beautiful, also. Because of my experience being attacked by another dog, I need a home with no other dogs. I am 7-8 years old, about 70 lbs., healthy, spayed, vaccinated & heartworm tested. Pound Pals also took care of my ACL surgery. Iím housebroken & well-behaved. I am wonderful with all people, but not good with cats.
Hope you agree that Iíve been through enough & will contact my friends at email@example.com for an adoption application. Or, complete an application at www.radfordpoundpals.org. Iím crossing my paws & waiting for you!

Who We Are
Roberts Rescue is a small nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to finding forever homes for the unwanted animals of Maryland. We all have our own full time jobs and families, not to mention our own dogs and cats! We dedicate our spare time to helping these pets in need. Most of our animals come from shelters or are found wandering the streets of Baltimore. When space and funds allow we do accept owner surrenders into our program. We do not rescue specific breeds but we lend a helping hand to all needy animals when we can. However we do specialize in Bully Breeds (English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, Boxers, etc.) therefore we also work with Ethical Bull Breed Rescue and Referral, Inc. (EBBRR) to help place Bully Breeds from across the country. EBBRR is a large network of volunteers dedicated to saving homeless Bullies from all over the USA. Please take the time to visit their website at www.ebbrr.org
Roberts Rescue strives to adopt each and every pet into the best possible home. In order to do this we require an Adoption Application, Reference Checks, Home Visits, and an Adoption Contract. We also require an Adoption Fee to help cover some of our veterinary expenses. Adoption fees are usually $200 but vary depending on the amount of vet care the animal required and received when it entered our program. Our home visits are preformed prior to adoption and we will continue to do home visits every so often once the animal has been adopted. We will continue to keep in touch with you throughout the animal's life. We also require a Veterinary Reference to verify your current animals are up to date on their vaccines and altered. We do not ship our animals, all of our animals are placed in Maryland and surrounding states. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt one of our animals. If you are interested in Adopting one of our great animals please email the contact email on that animals page for an adoption application or further information on a specific animal. Thank you for your interest in one of our animals and wanting to rescue a homeless animal.
Come Visit Us!
Roberts Rescue does not have a shelter. All of our animals listed on this website are in Foster Homes, Boarding Facilities, or Shelters. Some animals listed are still with their owners until foster space opens up in our program. Please send us an email if you would like to meet one of our wonderful pets and we will do our best to set up a time for you to visit or put you in contact with the Foster Parent.
