We recently rescued four adorable minirex babies, but they can't be placed up for adoption until they are altered. We need your help to pay for their spay/neuter surgeries. Donate at our website at www.solomonsisle.org.
How You Can Help
Recycle for rabbits. Donate your gently-used towels, animal carriers, and plastic totes. We are currently in need of a full-sized refrigerator to store vegetables donated to the refuge. We're also looking for a postal scale .
Cleanliness is next to bunnliness. The refuge can always use cleaning supplies such as paper towels, 1.1 mil trash bags, bleach, bleach cleaner, and white vinegar. Donations tax-deductible. Call or email us to donate.

Sponsor a Sanctuary Bunny
Hey, Honey! Sponsor a bunny! for $20 a month for as many months as you like. Sponsors will receive a certificate and photograph of the bunny you choose. Volunteers Needed
If you have some time, we could use your help. SIRR is looking for volunteers to help write grants, raise funds, and promote the rescue. We're always recruiting volunteers to assist with care and socialization of the refuge rabbits. Email us if you'd like to help out.
Who We Are
Solomon's Island Rabbit Refuge, Inc., is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization that provides sanctuary to companion rabbits. We will attempt to place rabbits in quality indoor homes where they can spend joyful and comfortable lives with an adoptive family. Those bunnies who do not find new homes are welcome to spend the duration of their lives at the sanctuary. Solomon's Island Rabbit Refuge also educates the public about the care of and living with an indoor companion rabbit.
Adopting a friend
Has one of our bunnies caught your eye? Looking for a buddy for your bunny? Adoption process includes an interview and possibly a home visit. Adoption donations are $70 for a neutered male, $80 for a spayed female, and $140 for a bonded pair. All animals are altered prior to adoption. To meet one of the refuge rabbits, please fill out our online adoption application.
