Arden's Arc
Happy Tails...
We have so many Happy Tails!
We've just been swamped with saving animals and haven't had the free time to share those stories....yet.
Our Featured Pet...
We'd like to feature all of our companion animals!
Each one is special in their own way and they all need a home to call their own.

PLEASE DONATE....EVERY DOLLAR WILL HELP!!! NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL, REALLY WE MEAN IT. SO IF YOU CAN SPARE EVEN A DOLLAR, PLEASE DONATE. DONATIONS ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
ARDEN'S ARC HAS EXPANDED TO NOW HELP CATS TOO. We are participating in the Trap-Neuter-Return program for feral (wild) cats. TNR means we catch the wild cats from the streets and alleys, have them tested for contagious diseases, neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, then return them to their outdoor environment. If a cat is young enough to be socialized with humans, it will be placed in a home rather than returned to the street. This is a proven, humane way to control the stray cat population. This will benefit the cats as well as the neighborhoods. We can only trap and neuter cats as fast as we receive donations to pay for their treatment. We volunteer our time. We desperately need monetary and food donations from you.
If you'd like to make a donation of any amount at all, please use the paypal link or contact us right away to make other arrangements. If you can donate cat food, preferably canned, you can drop it off at 2910 O'Donnell Street (except Mondays).
WE ARE A 501(c)3 TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION.
In other words, ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Who We Are
Arden's Arc is an all breed dog rescue specializing in dogs with special needs. In general, special needs means those dogs who may have physical, mental, or emotional issues. In most cases, these are the dogs no one else wanted. We have rescued and placed dogs with chronic diseases, orthopedic problems, fear aggression issues, as well as normal aging issues just to name a few. Of course we wouldn't turn away a dog simply because she doesn't have one of these special needs. We have rescued and placed many dogs whose only issue is not having a forever home.
Arden's Arc has also joined the fight to help feral cats. We participate in the Trap-Neuter-Return program, a humane way to reduce the stray cat population.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting any of our animals or in fostering for Arden's Arc, please send us an e-mail with your contact information and indicate whether you are interested in fostering or adopting a dog or cat. If adopting, please indicate which animal you are considering. We will promptly send an adoption/foster application to you. Keeping in mind we are an all-volunteer organization, promptly means as soon as we possibly can.
The adoption/foster process consists of submitting the completed application, having references checked, and a home visit conducted. Once you have been approved for adoption or foster, we ask you to commit to providing a safe and loving home for your new family member.
Adoption fees vary depending on the type and age of the animal. Since we operate solely on donations, we certainly won't turn down payments higher than the minimum adoption amount. In fact, we desperately need them in order to keep saving lives, especially those animals that others have given up on simply because they need a little extra effort and love.
Arden's Arc relies on foster homes since there is no facility to house the animals we save. We are desperately in need of foster families. A foster commitment can be as short as a week or as long as it takes to find a forever home. Any amount of time you can commit to providing a loving home will help save a life and will be greatly appreciated by the rescue and especially the pets whose life is saved. The rescue will take care of food and medical expenses. You just provide the home and care.
Please contact Arden's Arc for more information if you are considering fostering. We can discuss the program to see if it's something you want to try.
We can't say it enough. All donations are tax deductible. And no donation is too small!
Come Visit Us!
We do not have a shelter. Arden's Arc is an all-volunteer rescue and animals are housed at various foster homes. Contact us to arrange a visit with an animal. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.
