Who We Are

The Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, comprised of a network of volunteers, dedicated to finding permanent homes for purebred Siberian Huskies. Our organization has helped stray Siberian Huskies that were victims of auto accidents by providing the necessary surgery and rehab so that they may live a pain free life. We have rehabilitated abused dogs and worked hard with those that require special medical attention. We also provide counseling and training support for those with Siberian Husky related problems.

Assistance with Placement Services are available to families who need to find a new home for their Siberian Husky. We strive to help owners resolve their problems so they can keep their beloved pets but often circumstances do not allow. Adopting a friend

As a non-profit organization, we require a donation of $235 for all Siberian Huskies up to the age of 7. For Siberian Huskies 8 to 9 years old, the fee is $135. Senior dogs over 9 years old we ask for a donation to help to cover costs. All rescued Siberian Huskies are neutered/spayed prior to placement or, in instances of pups that are too young, we will require a neuter deposit in the amount of 150$. To ensure good health of our dogs, each of them is tested for heartworm, on heartworm preventative, tested for fecal parasites and treated when necessary, treated with Frontline to prevent flea and tick infestations, and up-to-date on all shots. Additional testing is completed and treatments provided as needed for any dog exhibiting any health concerns.

We require all potential adopters to fill out an application prior to placing a dog with them. Visit our Website and fill out an application for adoption.

Come Visit the Dogs

We do not have a public shelter, we are a network of volunteers. However, we do have adoption days and can schedule visitations at our foster homes. We also bring some of the dogs to public events such a dog shows, pet fairs, and adoption days at local pet stores. The dogs and time available for a visit will depend on the schedule of the volunteers. How You Can Help

Donations: DVSHR operates as a nonprofit Pennsylvania corporation and is completely dependent on donations and adoption fees to support its activities. None of the volunteers with our organization are compensated in any way. DVSHR is a 501(c)3 organization and contributions are TAX DEDUCTIBLE in accordance with Internal Revenue Service regulations. All donations should be made payable to: "Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue, Inc." and mailed to P.O. Box773, Horsham, PA 19044

Volunteer: If you would like to volunteer to foster dogs, transport dogs, attend public greetings, perform home checks, train rescue dogs, or have another way you can help please let us know.
