We have high demand for foster homes for small, medium, large senior dogs! If you can open up your home and your heart to foster a senior adoptable, please complete an application to foster at http://beforethebridge.ca/Application_Form.php
While each dog has its very own unique personality, one must seriously research the breed before deciding to bring one into their home.
For this reason, Before the Bridge will have many questions for any prospective adopter, and reserves the right to refuse anyone deemed unsuitable.
BBSK9R's adoption fee is $175 for all dogs and includes the dog's spay/neuter plus vaccinations (distemper, adenovirus/hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and rabies) and deworming.
BBSK9R's adoptions are not finalized until the adoption application has been submitted and accepted and a home visit has been conducted.
BBSK9R's adoptions have a two week trial period, where if for any reason the dog is not a good fit for your family, the dog is returned to BBSK9R and the adoption fee (minus $25 processing fee) is refunded.
In accordance with Winnipeg Animal Services, all dogs adopted through BBSK9R must be licensed within 48 hours of the adoption being finalized. For more information about Winnipeg's Dog License policies, please visit www.winnipeg.ca/cms/Animal.
If you are interested in adopting one of our loving adoptables, please complete an application for adoption through Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue website at http://beforethebridge.ca/Application_Form.php
Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue is a new rescue founded in Manitoba in July 2012. Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue is a volunteer operated, non-profit rescue group located in Stony Mountain, Manitoba, Canada. We are a rescue devoted to helping senior dogs who are often through no fault of their own, find themselves homeless in their golden years. We help them to find permanent, loving homes to live out their golden days.
Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue places dogs with loving foster families, who care for the dogs until they find their forever homes. The foster families and volunteers are the foundation of Before the Bridge and we couldn't operate without them.
