Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue

New Bothwell, MB

Our Mission

Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue is a non-profit rescue group operated out of Manitoba, Canada that rehomes Great Pyrenees (and all breeds) into new loving and responsible homes.

Dogs are fostered by volunteers until their forever homes are found.

All animals adopted out by Manitoba Great Pyrenees are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm tested, tattoo, and microchipped.

We are a group that takes pride in the quality of care provided and the quality of adoption homes found.

An adoption fee covers a portion of the money that is put into the animals.

Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue is involved in educating the general public about responsible pet ownership including the importance of spaying/neutering your pet(s).

Adoption Policy

The adoption process starts with an application form to find out more information about your family to ensure the best fit for the dog. Applications can be found at http://mgpr.weebly.com/

Second step is to have reference checks and vet checks. We want to ensure all dogs go to responsible loving homes.

Thirdly, is the meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting. We encourage all members of your family to be in attendance at this visit as the dog will be an integral part of all of their lives.

The final step of the adoption process is a home visit from one of our team members. The home visit allows us to see the environment in which the dog will be living as well as to offer any tips and advice to making your home dog friendly.

Then your new family member will come home to shower your family with unconditional love.
