Our shelter is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from situations of abandonment, homelessness, neglect and abuse. Our animals are given the veterinary care they need and a safe, caring and comfortable place to live until they are adopted for life.
Donations received in the amount of $10.00 or more will receive a tax receipt.

Thanks to your help, the animals have a new shelter! The Grand Opening of the largest for-life shelter in Western Canada was on Saturday September 27th. Please come by and visit us at the new shelter at 730B Century Street or call us at 888-2266.
Adopting a friend
All of the animals at the A.R.C. are health checked & vaccinated by a licensed vet, de-wormed, Feluk/FIV blood testing for cats, heartworm tested, (when applicable) for dogs, City of Winnipeg dog license, spayed or neutered, receive an A.R.C. tattoo and come with 6 weeks FREE pet health insurance.
Also, please don't forget to ask an A.R.C. employee about the Frequent Buyer Program for Nutro food.

Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
We are closed on Sundays and holidays.
