Once we determine what the personality of the dog is, we match him/her with homes on our waiting list. Obviously, if you have children, we will not contact you if we receive a dog that is not good with children regardless of your position on our list. This is true for all special needs (cats, small animals, etc.). When you're considered for a specific dog, we'll contact you and make arrangements for your entire family to spend time with your potential adoptee, this includes other animals in your house. We do understand that cats don't always enjoy riding in the car, so they are exempt from the meeting :)
If everything works out and you want to adopt him/her, we'll then fill out the adoption contract and any costs associated with the dog will be due at that time.
