We have an application and contract which must be approved prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $125 for a single kitten, which includes current veterinary care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for age, deworming, flea treatments and leukemia/FIV testing. We offer micro-chipping for an additional $25 also. Discounted adoption fee for adopting a pair of kittens only $225! Adult kitties (over one year) can be adopted for only $75! We require proof of home ownership or landlord approval prior to adoption.
We are a small group of cat lovers who foster cats and kittens in our homes. Due to our small size, we have limited foster care. Surrender of cats/kittens is by appointment only.
Our Mission Statement: Halfway Home Cat Rescue is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit group dedicated to cat and kitten rescue, care, and adoption. We provide a no-kill, cage-free environment in our foster homes for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Halfway Home assists in reducing cat overpopulation by altering and vetting all of our cats prior to adoption. We promote public awareness regarding the value of cats, cat welfare, cat overpopulation and quality human-cat companionship through education and adoption programs.
