URGENT Foster Homes Needed!
Angelcat Haven is a foster home based rescue, not a shelter. There are no cats housed at the Bacon Square mailing address. We depend entirely on our volunteers to open their homes to foster our Angelcats while they wait for their new forever homes. If you have a desire to make a difference, your pets are up to date on their shots, and you have a spare room, please let us know- we'll provide the rest. Nearly every day, we are asked to take in both adult cats and kittens, but we can only help as many as our foster homes have room for. The more foster homes, the more cats we save! Angelcat Haven was formed to help save a four month old stray kitten named Maddie who had been turned away from another shelter, due to her extensive injuries. We fought for five days to save her and could not. Some stories just don't have happy endings. But, although she was small, she had a huge impact on our lives... she is our Angelcat. Our mission is to help the cats that fall through the cracks when existing shelters just don't have the room. We strive to reduce overpopulation through education, low cost spay and neuter programs, community trap and rescue programs, and working together with other rescue groups to reduce the number of unwanted and unplanned for animals. We put every effort, into working with and socializing the stray, feral and abandoned cats we rescue so that they can live out their lives in a warm, loving home.Donate Your Time
If you're reliable, compassionate and willing to work, please come join our team. Volunteers are needed for cleaning and caring for the cats, fundraising and event planning, secretarial work, fostering, grant writing, doing laundry, plus a wide variety of other assorted duties.
