Who We Are

Animal Control is responsible for stray dogs,sick injured, and deceased animals in the City of Brockton: Hours of operation: Mon-Fri 7am-3 pm, Sat/Sun 7am - 3pm & Holidays 7am-11am. If you have an emergency outside our normal hours of operation contact the Brockton Police Dept at 508-941-0200.

All stray dogs are held for 12 days. If the animal is not claimed within that time it is evaluated for adoption. If you see a dog posted you are interested in DO NOT wait for the available date, call ASAP and express interest. Requirements to adopt are: Completed adoption application & must be 18 years of age. All applications are reviewed and the appropriate home is picked based on the discrection of Animal Control. Adoption Fees are as follows: $65 Altered. $85 Unaltered.
