Who We Are
Rescue Me is a companion animal private rescue facility located in the hills of Ashfield set back on 6 acres of field and trail. We offer training classes, behavior modification, consultations, and adoptions for dogs, cats, and horses. Because we are a home located rescue we are only able to take in a few animals at a time. The benefit is that all rescued pets are raised and worked with in a home environment with the aid of our own "furry family". We spend countless hours welcoming each "foster" into our home like one of our own. This means that they are well socialized, taken offsite often, are given basic training, and generally get to experience all that the world offers.
Adopting a friend
Rescue Me has an open adoption policy. This means that anyone is able to apply for a companion animal. We have a short, but sweet adoption application. We are not a first come, first serve rescue; but strive to find the best match for both the animal and the adopter. We want to find out exactly what kind of pet you are looking for and often may take several interviews with the adopter and the pet, to do so.
