RRUFF rescues unwanted and abandoned Rottweiler dogs from shelters in New England. We also take on a limited number of owner surrender cases where there are exigent circumstances. Each dog is put through a rigid temperament evaluation to test their suitability for placement with a family. Once the dog passes the evaluation s/he is accepted into our program and placed in foster care. While in foster care each dog learns basic obedience, house manners, crate training and how to live harmoniously with a family. |
| Rescuing and re-homing Rottweilers is a big expense. RRUFF depends on the support of Rottweiler lovers to fund its efforts. All of our rescue personnel are volunteers, and our activities are made possible by contributions of money, food, medical expertise, training articles, and services from many sources.
