PLEASE--DON'T BUY A MALL OR PURE-BRED DOG when so many wonderful dogs are available, yet the vast majority will be put down for lack of adoptive homes.
News
When we have dogs, they are fostered in VT. Due to our inability to find affordable non-residential isolation, and thereby meet the MA State regulations, we are not able to adopt dogs into MA. We welcome inquires from NY, CT & VT.

Who We Are
BerkshireP.U.P.s (Precious Unwanted Puppies) Rescue is a small, independent rescue. We are not breed-specific. We rescue nice, family-oriented dogs from kill shelters. Our goal is to help those who want to adopt a pet, but avoid puppy mill/mall dogs or breeder dogs, a chance at finding "puppy love."
Adopting a friend
Interested persons can e-mail for an Adoption Application. Adoptions are limited to the NY, VT & CT regional area around Berkshire County, MA.
All of our dogs receive:
Two health examinations,
Health Certificate,
Spaying/Neutering,
Fecal Exam,
Wormings,
DHPPV/DPLPP Vaccination and booster AN,
Rabies Vaccination (if 4 months & older),
Heartworm Disease Test (if 6 months & older, must have a negative outcome),
Heartworm Preventive,
Bordatella Vaccination,
and flea control.
Perspective adopters must be interviewed in person, over the age of 21, able to show proof of home ownership or landlord approval.
We reserve the right to check all references, and to refuse adoption as we see fit.
Fees are based on expenses associated with each individual dog's costs, and are noted on each dog's page.
Although not a 501(c), BerkshireP.U.P.s is operated as a non-profit, with all monies going to the rescue, vetting and care of our dogs.
