Nine Lives of Norton is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill feline rescue shelter founded in 1997. During the past twelve years, we have helped more than two thousand felines through our adoption, adult feral cat trap/neuter/return, and low-cost spay/neuter programs.
Adoption days are on Fridays from 5:30pm to 6:45pm, Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or by appointment. Because we are all volunteers, we answer phone calls once a week. We check our e-mail every other day..
Adoptions are not handled over the phone, but we can discuss what kind and types of cats and kittens are available. A popular phrase remains that the cat or kitten will choose you, so please visit us and see for yourself.
We have lots of cats and kittens that need homes. We hope you will consider an adult cat because they are often forgotten about while families choose kittens. However, adult cats will be calmer and better behaved than a kitten as well as be far less trouble overall.
Some of our cats have been getting special medical treatment. Since the shelter is a non-profit facility that runs solely on fundraising and donations, these bills can deplete our funds quickly. Please consider a tax deductible donation whereby 100% of your donation goes directly toward caring for our felines and maintaining their shelter.
