Who We Are
The Middleborough Dog Shelter is run by the Middleborough Animal Control Department.
The Officer is on duty Monday through Friday 8am until 4pm and there is an on-call officer for emergency calls during off-hours.
Our pet viewings and adoptions are arranged by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call and leave a message at 508-946-2455.
Adopting a friend
Once you have chosen a dog for adoption, there is an application process that attempts to find the right owners are matched with the right dogs. The Adoption fee is $35.00 to take your new friend home. The cost includes a $10.00 adoption fee and a $25.00 Spay/Neuter deposit.
After taking your new dog home, you have 10 days to see a vet and have the dog caught up on shots AND have it licensed through the town.
