About Us:
Underdog ResQ is an all-volunteer non-profit organization based in Massachusetts dedicated to the rescue of homeless shelter dogs and matching each dog with appropriate and responsible owners. We plan to rescue dogs locally before expanding into other states.
We were created in the summer of 2004 and are in need of foster homes.
Many animal shelters have time, space and breed limitations and are forced to euthanize adoptable dogs. Underdog ResQ was created to save some of these dogs. Each dog that we accept into our group first goes through a behavioral evaluation. Once we accept a dog into our organization, we ensure that he receives health care prior to placement. Underdog ResQ cares for our dogs through a foster home network. Each foster parent cares for their foster dog until a permanent family is found. Our goal is to match each dog’s personality and needs with the needs of the applicant.
