Every week or so we pick a dog, cat, bunny, or small & fuzzy to be our PET of THE WEEK. These are animals that the staff of the MSPCA chose because they think there is something extra special about that animal that makes them highly adoptable. Visit our site regularly to see our featured PET of THE WEEKS!
NEWS
The MSPCA in Centerville is currently seeking VOLUNTEERS, FOSTER HOMES, and DONATIONS. Please inquire if you would like to help make a difference!
WHO WE ARE
We are a non-profit organization that cares for unwanted and homeless pets. We have an animal care facility and adoption center. The MSPCA always appreciates help and support from the community. If you are an animal lover, find out about all the different ways you can help.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that along with cats & dogs, the adoption center also has rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, gerbils, birds, reptiles, ferrets, and other small critters? Well, they do. And the animals are all looking for good homes and a second chance at a happy life.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
Our adoption process is very simple. You visit the shelter. Inquire about the pet your interested in and spend a good amount of time with them. If you feel that you are ready to commit, fill out an application. One of our staff members will review your adoption application with you, and if it looks like it is a compatible match, we'll start the adoption paperwork. We like our pets to be picked up by the end of the day. We do NOT hold animals, it is a "first come, first serve" basis and the first application we believe to be compatible with the pet. In some cases we will have an animal that is extremely popular and several inquiries at the same time. To be fair to everyone involved, we may decide to accept mutiple applications.
COME VISIT US!
We are open Tuesday thru Saturday, 12:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. for adoptions and surrenders. The public is more than welcome to just come and visit with the animals. Don't forget to bring your treats!
