News

Even though the summer is winding down, the fleas are still out in full force! Now that we are getting some cooler temperatures the ticks are back! Be sure to keep your pet protected with an FDA APPROVED flea & tick treatment, such as Advantage or Frontline. QUICK TIP- Dietary indiscretions are the leading causes for vomiting and diarrhea episodes in your pet. A quick treat could cause several days of discomfort to your pet. Many pets may be suffering from fall allergies(ragweed, golden rod, rotting/moldy leaves). Allergies in pets can show up as hot spots, ear & skin infections, sneezing & runny eyes. Contact your local veterinarian if you feel your pet may be suffering from these symptoms.

Who We Are

The Oxford Animal Hospital is located in the center of historic Oxford. Our building was built in 1840. We are a 2- doctor, small animal practice and also see pocket pets(Pocket Pets ONLY SEEN ON MONDAYS & TUESDAYS WITH DR.DUBIN). We rescue cats from the local ACO and do our best to find their forever home. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CATS FROM PRIVATE PARTIES!!!

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in a pet you have seen on this website please call us to send you an application. We can fax or mail it to you. We like to have an APPROVED application before setting up a physical meeting. Remember we require all cats to be INDOOR ONLY. We do have an adoption "donation" which goes toward the care of all rescused cats. Because we are a working animal hospital we do our best to review all requests within a 4-6 day period.
