HOW TO REGISTER:
You may register with a donation of any amount to Ce-Ce & Friends. Please also ask your family, friends, and coworkers to sponsor you with donations; **100% of proceeds will go directly toward our continued sheltering and care of homeless cats and kittens.**
You can print and download a sponsor form here or fill one out at the Walk. Please make checks payable to Ce-Ce & Friends Humane Society. We are a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit and all donations are tax-deductible.

I'm a wonderful adult kitty. I am a big, gentle, easygoing fellow....you won't believe how mellow, laid-back, and kindhearted I am! I love everybody! I really need a home where I will be safe, warm, and loved. I don't ever want to be out on my own again...it's very scary and lonely out there.

Who We Are
Ce-Ce & Friends Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat shelter established by two cat lovers and animal rescue veterans in Quincy, MA. Our organization is named in memory of our first shelter cat, Ce-Ce. Although Ce-Ce broke our hearts when she passed away after a lengthy battle with illness, we have created Ce-Ce & Friends to honor her memory by rescuing, protecting, and working to find loving homes for the many wonderful cats in need of homes and help around us. In the summer of 2005, Ce-Ce & Friends moved to its new location in Weymouth, MA.
Ce-Ce & Friends' mission is to "make a difference..one feline at a time." We provide clean, warm, loving, and safe transitional shelter. We also provide necessary veterinary care for stray, feral and abandoned cats and kittens until caring, permanent homes are found. All of our cats/kittens are examined by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered if old enough, and Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS tested, as well as vaccinated, prior to being placed for adoption.
Adopting a Friend
If you find your heart belongs to one (or more!) of the kitties on our site, PLEASE CALL CE-CE & FRIENDS AT 781-331-6115 AND LEAVE A MESSAGE TO SPEAK WITH ONE OF OUR ADOPTION COUNSELORS. You can then make an appointment to meet your special kitty (and please remember that, in addition to the cats profiled on our web site, there are always MANY more cats waiting patiently for loving homes!)
ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:
Ce-Ce & Friends asks all of its prospective "parents" to fill out an adoption contract at the time you visit our shelter.
Please note that our policy is to adopt to Massachusetts residents only
If you own your own home, you will need proof of ownership (i.e., a mortgage statement), and if you rent, you will need a letter from your landlord stating that you are allowed to own a pet.
We also do enforce a brief waiting period while your application is processed and your references checked before adopting out any of our cats.
These precautions are meant to ensure the best possible match for you AND your newfound feline friend! THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

We are open by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM until 3 PM. Please don't hesitate to call and/or leave a message at any other time! Since we are run entirely by volunteers who have full-time day jobs, it may take us a couple of days to return phone calls. We make every effort to return EVERY call in a timely manner - but if you haven't heard from us within 3 or 4 days, we ask that you please try calling us back. Thank you for your understanding!
